Jiangzhou Scenic Area
jiangzhou scenic area is famous for jiangzhou natural bridge and jiangzhoudong cave; it consists of jiangzhou natural bridge, jiangzhoudong cave, shuijinggong cave, dashandong cave, lühedong cave, longshi shaft, mayueni cave, mou’ai polje and so on. jiangzhoudong cave is not only the most density of cave chambers area but also non-gravitational deposits of helictites area.
shuijinggong and jiangzhou natural bridges are opened so far, where tourist center and parking have been set up.
the tour trails include a bus trip from sanmenhai to shuijinggong, jiangzhou natural bridge or from bama county town shuiinggong via jiazhuan township, and a hiking trip from paoli township to manfei entrance of jiangzhou cave system via moutun village, jiangzhou natural bridge and shuijinggong and back by bus.

jiangzhou natural bridge
jiangzhou natural bridge, also known as “bow bridge”, is situated in jiangzhou village, fengshan county, with the jiangzhou road passing directly below the bridge. the natural bridge is 166m long, 94m high, 38~42m wide, 18~24m thick, 46m in arch height, and has a span of 144 m. below the bridge to the north are relics of the ming dynasty yongning temple, such as stone board established in guangxu thirty-four years.
yinyang hills
yinyang hills, also known as male and female mountains, is located at the sides of dadongni depression. yang hill is situated to the southeast of dadongni depression, and resembles a big penis with a relative height of 172m; yin hill is located to the west of dadongni depression, and contains a cave entrance is 75m high opposite to yang hill.
shuijinggong cave
shuijinggong cave is an early fossil passage of jiangzhoudong cave system, located in a fengcong karst hillside. it is at an elevation of 640m asl at the entrance, about 150m above the active underground river. so far 780m of passage has been surveyed, mostly 8~25m wide and 10~30m high, with a floor area of 22,006 square meters and a volume of approximately 327,930 cubic meters.
the cave features 10 kinds of non-gravitational deposits such as acicular and trichoid helictites, which cover an area of up to 8,000 square meters in the further reaches of the cave, of which most are pure white and still growing. nearer the entrance there are mainly gravitational deposits including cave straws, stalactites, stalagmites, columns and cave flags as well as different kinds of flowstones and cave shields. these formations are valuable for both scientific study and sightseeing.
